suckered in....

Been REFUSING to join facebook for the longest time.

Just came out of a work meeting and now they're asking me to sign up so I can view work related projects on the site.

Am i the last person in my generation to not have a facebook acct? Sigh. Now that facebook is so advanced, I feel like a parent first learning how to use the internet.

It's DONE!

Finally completed my first wedding website! It's up and running now and if you know the bride and/or groom, leave them a message in their guestbook! That way, Andrea can have something to look forward to everyday.

www.andreaandwil.com

Also completed and sent out are her Save the Date cards! We discovered a nifty little invention called the Gocco machine that basically allows you to create a "stamp" from your own design. We went in a little over our heads, this being our first project using the machine, b/c we had 2 different color text on the same line. We had to expose 2 different screens so that we could stamp 2 different colors...one at a time. So if your Save the Date card is a little off, it's supposed to be! With the Gocco machine, you have to expect imperfect cards....gives it a homemade feel.

The envelopes turned out great!

Here are our multiple copies of the cards:

What have I been doing for the past 3 months?

Not much except having fun and throwing my first co-hosted Wine & Cheese Party!

Excellent food, great company, good wine.

The start of it.....

Unfortunately, i didn't take close-ups of the food but here's one dish i made...Smoked Salmon hors' dourves. Other dishes not photographed: Wild Mushroom Risotto, Freshly shucked Hog Island Oysters, Fried Oysters, Lobster Bisque shooters, Chicken Skewers w/ Peanut Sauce, Mushroom Puff Pastries, and a ton more.

The hangout spot of the night.

My high school gang, minus Rachel and a few others, with the addition of a few new ones.

The hosts.

Dennis says next is...Beer and Fried Foods Party! Anyone interested?
